Nishesh Basavareddy spent two seasons at Stanford, earned two All-American selections and used the ATP Next Gen Accelerator before turning professional in December 2024. Two Challenger titles and three additional finals late that year sent him to the Next Gen ATP Finals. In 2026 he won Savannah, then produced his first Top 10 victory at Roland Garros by beating No. 7 seed Taylor Fritz 7-6, 7-6, 6-7, 6-1.
