Luka Mikrut converted a run of lower-tour titles into a Challenger breakthrough. The Croatian, a former junior No. 40, won his first professional title at the 2023 M25 Osijek event on home clay. In 2025 he assembled a 15-match winning streak across four consecutive ITF tournaments, then captured his first Challenger trophy in Como by beating fellow Split native Duje Ajdukovic 6-3, 7-5.
