Taylor Townsend turned fearless net play into three major doubles titles
Taylor Townsend's left-handed all-court game has always stood apart in an era dominated by baseline exchanges. Her forehand, slice and net instincts eventually became a championship doubles formula with Katerina Siniakova. They won Wimbledon in 2024, the Australian Open in 2025 and Roland Garros in 2026, where Townsend collected her third major title. Their 2026 season also included the Indian Wells-Miami Sunshine Double and Madrid, producing an 18-match winning streak. Townsend has still advanced in singles too, reaching a career-high No. 46 and a US Open fourth round after returning from maternity leave.
