Nicolai Budkov Kjaer became the first Norwegian to win a Grand Slam singles title at any level when he took the 2024 Wimbledon boys' crown. The same season brought a Roland Garros boys' doubles title, the junior No. 1 ranking and a US Open boys' singles final. He then won four ATP Challenger trophies in 2025 and qualified for his first major main draw at the 2026 Australian Open by beating Yosuke Watanuki, James McCabe and Pierre-Hugues Herbert.
