Maks Kasnikowski turned six saved match points into a breakthrough season
Maks Kasnikowski's 2024 rise began with a match that could have ended six times. The Warsaw-born player saved six match points against Adrian Andreev at the Oeiras Challenger, then completed the week by winning his first Challenger title. He added a home-country title in Poznan, entered the Top 200 and made his Grand Slam main-draw debut later that summer. The ATP biography also reflects how he sees his own tennis: Kasnikowski names the drop shot as his favorite shot and hard court as his preferred surface.
