Luisa Stefani has become the most accomplished Brazilian doubles player of her generation. She and Laura Pigossi won bronze at the Tokyo Olympics, Brazil's first Olympic tennis medal, and Stefani reached doubles world No. 9 in 2021. After a major knee injury, she returned to win the 2023 Australian Open mixed doubles title with Rafael Matos, the first all-Brazilian team to capture a Grand Slam trophy.
