Kilian Feldbausch: a Swiss junior standout already tested in Challenger finals
Kilian Feldbausch grew up inside a tennis family: his mother, Cathy Caverzasio, reached No. 34 on the WTA Tour. The 1.91-metre Swiss right-hander became a top-five junior and reached the 2022 Australian Open boys' semifinals on his junior Grand Slam debut. His transition accelerated late in 2023 at Maspalomas, where the eighteen-year-old came through qualifying to reach his first ATP Challenger final. Pedro Martinez stopped him in three sets, denying Feldbausch the chance to become Switzerland's second-youngest Challenger champion behind Roger Federer. He returned to another Challenger final in Troyes in 2026.
