Jordan Lee entered 2026 Wimbledon as an alternate, came through qualifying and finished the fortnight as boys' singles champion. The American recovered to beat Cruz Hewitt 4-6, 6-4, 7-5 in the final, becoming the first qualifier to win the boys' title since Noah Rubin in 2014. At sixteen years and 69 days, Lee was the youngest champion there since Shintaro Mochizuki in 2019 and the first American winner since 2021.
