Jazmin Ortenzi: twelve clay titles before a 2026 WTA semifinal breakthrough
Jazmin Ortenzi spent years building a professional base almost entirely on clay. The Argentine began on the ITF circuit in 2017 and won twelve singles titles from 2019 through 2025, all on that surface. Her tour main-draw debut came in São Paulo in 2025. Ortenzi then broke through in Bogotá in 2026 as a qualifier: she earned her first WTA win, defeated former champion Camila Osorio, beat Julia Riera in an all-Argentine quarterfinal and reached the semifinals. That run helped lift her to a career-high No. 152 in May.
