Gilles Arnaud Bailly: junior finalist turned relentless professional competitor
Gilles Arnaud Bailly ended 2025 as one of the ITF circuit's sharpest risers. The Belgian won five World Tennis Tour titles and climbed roughly 600 ranking places, then added a first Challenger final in Porto. His coach Dries Beerden identifies movement, game-reading and competitive mentality as core strengths, with an improved serve and forehand supplying more free points. That progress followed an elite junior career: Bailly reached both the Roland Garros and US Open boys' singles finals in 2022 and won the European junior championship before moving full-time into senior tennis.
