Carson Branstine won the 2017 Australian Open and Roland Garros girls' doubles titles with Bianca Andreescu, but injuries repeatedly interrupted her junior and college years. She completed a society, ethics and law degree at Texas A&M and initially helped fund her professional career through modeling work. Starting unranked in November 2023, the Canadian reached a first WTA 125 final in Cancun, upset defending champion Liudmila Samsonova on her WTA debut and qualified for Wimbledon in 2025.
