Tristan Boyer found an Argentine clay education after Stanford
Tristan Boyer helped Stanford win its first Pac-12 team championship since 2003, then built an unusual American pathway on South American clay. Working with Argentine coach Alejandro Fabbri, he won Challenger titles in Merida, Campinas and Montevideo in 2024. His 44 Challenger match wins tied the American single-season record, and he became the first American to collect three clay Challenger trophies in one year. Boyer then qualified for the 2025 Australian Open, beat Federico Coria for his first tour-level victory and climbed to a career-high No. 106 later that season.
