Sofia Costoulas reached the 2022 Australian Open girls' singles final and rose to junior No. 2. The Belgian began collecting ITF titles in 2023, made her Billie Jean King Cup debut in 2024 and reached her first WTA 125 semifinal at Rovereto in 2025. Her 2026 Auckland run marked another step: after qualifying for her first tour-level main draw, she advanced to the quarterfinal.
