Rebecca Sramkova turned one extraordinary month into a Top 40 career
Rebecca Sramkova reached her first three WTA finals during 2024, and all three arrived in a concentrated late-season surge. She was runner-up in Monastir, immediately won her maiden title in Hua Hin by beating Laura Siegemund 6-4, 6-4, and later finished runner-up in Jiujiang. The Slovakian ended that year inside the Top 50 for the first time. In 2025 she recorded her first Grand Slam main-draw victory at the Australian Open and climbed to a career-high No. 33. WTA reporting describes her long swings as a source of unusually easy power.
