Lucia Bronzetti: a Rabat champion with finals on clay, grass and hard courts
Lucia Bronzetti has shown that her steady baseline game can travel across surfaces. The Italian won her first WTA singles title on Rabat clay in 2023, recovering from a break down in the deciding set to beat Julia Grabher 6-4, 5-7, 7-5. She also reached finals in Palermo, Bad Homburg and Cluj-Napoca, giving her championship-round experience on clay, grass and indoor hard court. Bronzetti climbed to a career-high No. 46 and represented Italy in the inaugural United Cup final after clinching the semifinal tie against Greece.
