Liam Broady: a Wimbledon giant-killer with deep junior major roots
Liam Broady has repeatedly delivered his best senior tennis at Wimbledon. The Stockport left-hander came from two sets down for his first tour win there in 2015, reached the third round in 2022 and returned to that stage in 2023 by defeating world No. 4 Casper Ruud in five sets for his first top-ten victory. Broady reached a career-high No. 93 and owns two ATP Challenger titles. Before the professional breakthrough, he was junior world No. 2, runner-up in 2011 Wimbledon boys' singles and 2012 US Open boys' singles, and a boys' doubles champion at Wimbledon and the Australian Open.
