Kyrian Jacquet: five Challenger titles after a severe hamstring setback
Kyrian Jacquet turned a painful 2024 interruption into a rapid Challenger rise. A ten-centimetre hamstring tear at Quimper left the Lyon native unable to sit comfortably, but he returned to win back-to-back titles in Chennai and New Delhi in February 2025. Jacquet dropped only one set across those two weeks and later led all French players with three Challenger trophies that season. He won a fifth title in Manama in 2026 and reached a career-high No. 102. His first Challenger crown had come as an Olbia qualifier in 2023, defeating future top-20 player Flavio Cobolli in the final.
