Jeline Vandromme: a 23-match surge from ITF titles to junior Grand Slam champion
Jeline Vandromme produced one of 2025's strongest transitions between junior and professional tennis. The Belgian won W35 Roehampton as a qualifier, followed with two W15 titles in Monastir and arrived in New York on a long winning streak. She then captured the US Open girls' singles championship, extending that run to 23 consecutive victories. Vandromme defeated Swedish qualifier Lea Nilsson 7-6, 6-2 in the final and became Belgium's first girls' major champion since An-Sophie Mestach in 2011. Her professional progress continued into 2026, carrying her to a career-high No. 128.
