Eva Vedder reached a career-high ranking after a strong 2026 clay season
Eva Vedder began playing tennis at six and identifies clay as her preferred surface. The Dutch player won her first ITF singles title in Tabarka in 2019, then built substantial doubles experience, including a 2022 WTA 125 final in Bari with Andrea Gamiz. Vedder reached her first tour-level singles main draw in Palermo in 2023 and later qualified at Rosmalen in 2024 and Hamburg in 2025. Her 2026 results produced a new career-high singles ranking of No. 178 in July. The ITF recorded 31 wins from her first 45 professional matches of the season, with 26 of those victories coming on clay.
