Elizabeth Mandlik built her own tour identity beyond a champion family name
Elizabeth Mandlik is the daughter of four-time major champion and 1985 US Open winner Hana Mandlikova, but her professional milestones carry their own shape. She earned a first WTA main-draw win in San Jose in 2022, defeating Alison Riske-Amritraj before pushing World No. 4 Paula Badosa to a deciding tiebreak. In 2023, Mandlik reached tour quarterfinals in Nottingham and Osaka, made the Reus WTA 125 final and broke into the Top 100. She added the biggest title of her career at the Edmond W100 in 2025. The Floridian's progress has come through qualifying runs and repeated lower-tour rebuilding rather than inherited status.
